Based in Hackney Wick, JARR Kombucha is a microbrewery serving up stylish bottles of kombucha, a fermented tea drink championed by the health food world. Packed full of probiotics, antioxidants, vitamins, enzymes and amino acids, kombucha is about as impressive as a health drink gets, and JARR are part of the movement hoping to bring it into the mainstream within the UK. Last year they opened Europe’s first kombucha taproom creating a space where people could enjoy the drink within a bar setting. Everything is brewed, bottled, labelled, and packaged by hand and the bottles are stocked in Harrods, Planet Organic, Sources Market and a number of independent shops throughout London.
