Baines&Fricker are designers to watch. A husband and wife enterprise, they launched their company in 2011 at 100% Design. (Steve Baines is a furniture maker and Eliza Fricker an illustrator and screenprinter: fair to say they make a good team.) They work from the belief that products for the home are for keeps, and love finding the worth in everyday things. This dolls house is a lovely example of their care and craft, in miniature. The simple modernist design means it just looks great by itself, but – with children in mind – was created to hold most furniture and little toy figures.
