As of September 2016, Motherland will be relaunching with a newly-appointed editorial and marketing team. We’re super excited and, having already set our sights on our new editor, we’re on the look-out for a new assistant…

What we’re after:
A proactive, organised, dedicated team member to work within our growing editorial department, across the Motherland site. Reporting to a newly-appointed Motherland editor and picture editor, the winning candidate should have magazine/journalism experience and/or a keen interest in online media. A friendly manner, enthusiasm and a fair bit of computer skills/online savvy would be excellent.

Duties will include:
Organisation, scheduling content/events; generating ideas; writing content; conducting interviews; responding to emails; generally assisting the editor and picture editor.

Where/when:
Based in Covent Garden, Central London. 3/4 days a week.
Starting September 2016.
Salary on application.
